It’s been three years since Hey Mel! kicked off our business, and what a ride it’s been! We’ve been able to work with incredible brands, meet amazing people, and deliver work that fills our cups.

To celebrate our three-year business birthday, we’re giving everyone 30% off all of our training courses, if you pay your deposit by the end of November 2023, and book your session for a time in the next six months (by 30 May 2024).

How to get your discounted training

Terms and conditions

    1. To receive a 30 per cent discount on the full price of our training, you must book your training and pay a 30 per cent non-refundable deposit by 30 November 2023 to secure your spot.

    2. Workshops must be booked in for delivery by 31 May 2023.

    3. The discount does not apply to any travel, accommodation, or other costs associated with the training. If travel, accommodation and meals are required, these will be billed in addition to the workshop fee.

    1. Your booking must on a date between 17 October 2023 and 30 May 2024.

    2. If you need to reschedule, you can do so free of charge up to seven days before the booking date.

    3. Any request to rebook within seven days of the booking date will attract a fee - 80% of the total remaining cost of the invoice. This is because we need to make sure we carefully manage our time, and secure spots for our valued clients.

    4. Your new date of training must be within one month of the original booking date. If it is beyond, your discount will no longer apply and you will be charged the full rate for our training.

    1. Training is delivered either in-person or virtually.

    2. We do not offer hybrid training, as we have found technology is unreliable and results in a poor experience for participants.

    3. In-person training can either be at your company’s premises if there is suitable space, or off-site. If off-site, your company is responsible for the costs of venue hire, and ensuring the venue is fit for purpose.

    4. For virtual training, we prefer to use Zoom. Other platforms, like Microsoft Teams, are often unreliable and working past security issues can be problematic.

    5. For virtual training, we recommend sessions no longer than 90 minutes at a time. This is the maximum time to keep people engaged, and ensure the learning sticks.

    6. For in-person training, we recommend a maximum of a four-hour (half day) session. However, we can offer a full-day session if required.

    7. For most training sessions we recommend a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 20 people to ensure a great experience for everyone. If this means you will need to book in more than one session to ensure a larger group of people can participate, your 30% discount will only apply to the first session. Every session thereafter will be charged at the usual full price.

    1. For most training, we provide tools and templates, delivered virtually.

    2. If you would prefer these materials to be in hard copy, you will be charged an extra fee for printing and delivery.

    3. For virtual sessions, you will receive a recording of the session which you can use internally within your organisation for up to 12 months after the training date.

    4. If a slide deck is used, you will receive an edited copy of this as reference material following the training.

  • Our usual pricing for training (before the discount is applied) is as follows (all prices in Australian dollars):

    • Half-day (four-hour) in-house training: $6,000 + GST (with discount: $4,200 + GST)

    • Full-day (eight-hour) in-house training: $12,000 + GST (with discount: $8,400 + GST)

    • Virtual 90-minute training: $1,200 + GST (with discount: $840 + GST)

    As per the other terms and conditions above:

    • Costs include all training materials, including use of any recording for up to 12 months after your training date

    • Costs do not include travel, accommodation, associated transport or meals.

2024 Training Dates

Most businesses prefer to book a training session for a group of their team members, on a date that suits their business.

But if you’re a small business, a solopreneur, or just have one or two team members you’d like to participate in training, we do offer public workshops.

Note these dates are subject to change, and interstate workshops may be offered depending on demand.
